About the Quilter

Wind Edward Kim is a transpacific, multimedia hybrid precariously situated at the crossroads of restless fault lines on the eastern pacific rim. In this project he attempts to slash and sew together new patterns from the deconstructed scraps of an increasingly pixelated world.

These people waited in line for hours to get free grilled fish at the Sanma Festival. About 5,000 sanma (Pacific saury) were given away. And they remained in line to get their lime and grated radish. Continue reading Free Fish!
